LS Drama Workshops
Founded in 2017, LS Drama Workshops is a dedicated performing arts school based in Plympton, delivering drama and musical theatre group and 1-1 sessions to children and teens aged 4-18.
Sessions are taught by our highly skilled staff who have all fully trained having graduated from reputable drama schools themselves. They hold a wealth of performing and teaching experience and are experts when it comes to inspiring and helping young people achieve their full potential.
Our sessions are energetic, fun, varied and inclusive of all. Not only will your child develop their performance and vocal skills through effective drama techniques taught by our professionals, but they will also enhance and nurture crucial life skills such as confidence, creativity, empathy, teamwork and communication. Watch them blossom into well-rounded individuals, ready to embrace life and its opportunities.
- Principal / Lead Teacher: LAURA
Laura gained a B.A (Hons) degree in 2014 from a prestigious Drama School in Liverpool. Soon after graduating Laura completed teaching training with LAMDA. Her love for teaching and inspiring children prompted her to set up her own Drama School in Plymouth. Laura's previous experiences with performing give her the capacity to teach the core competencies required to perform on stage in front of an audience. She has performed on stages such as The London Palladium in Sister Act, Panto's at the Theatre Royal and various performances at The Barbican Theatre. In 2015 Laura completed an 'Acting for TV and Film' qualification with the National Youth Theatre in London. Laura's main objective is to encourage her students to embrace their individuality and build the confidence to work outside of their comfort zones.
